STEP 01 HAS LAUNCHED: BUILDING A FIRM FOUNDATION
In 2020, the book From the Core: A Spiritual Journey of Losing Everything and Finding Hope was released documenting the spiritual transformation journey of CORHOUSE founder, Cordila Jochim. That book was the inspiration. The From the Core Workbook Series is the call to action. It's where the rubber meets the road. It's how one moves from an observer of the spiritual transformation process to a practitioner.
The foundation piece of FTC will include, but is not limited to books, workbooks, podcasts, courses, products and merchandise and so much more.
WHY WE PICKED THIS BATTLE.
In 2011, famed Christian worldview researcher, George Barna, wrote a book called Maximum Faith, Live Like Jesus. Using both quantitative and qualitative research methods in more than 15,000 telephone surveys, Barna captured riveting research about Christians in the United States and their journey of spiritual transformation. Barna found the spiritual transformation journey can be broken down into a 10-stop journey. However, only 11% of Christians make it past Stop 5. Stop 6 is what Barna terms "Holy Discontent," which means when faith gets hard, people stop developing. Yet on the other side of that block in Stops 8, 9, and 10 (Surrender and Submission; Profound love of God; and Profound Love of People - is where Christians truly become salt and light and hold out hope to the world. The ability to live one's Maximum Divine Potential requires the ability to be a practitioner of faith when life gets hard.
